the database "CC_ExternalBrowsing" belongs to the Software "WinCC/Connectivity Pack".
That means, the database is createt, when you install WinCC/Connectivity Pack.
The database has a similar function for the WinCC/Connectivity Pack, as the
runtime database has for the WinCC Basic Runtime.

The Connectivity Pack provides the function "ArchiveMonitor". The function automatically
merges the data from runtime and archive databases of the activated WinCC project into
an SQL database "CC_ExternalBrowsing" and creates the "AMT" and "ARCHIVE" views in it.
Since these views provide all the necessary information for the WinCC OLE DB Provider,
the "CC_ExternalBrowsing" database can be used as a data source for the provider.
On deactivating WinCC runtime, views additionally created in "CC_ExternalBrowsing" are
deleted.
