Hello all,

I have a problem with PAA import export with PCS7. We have HW config available in PCS7 project. The Config contains ET 200SP stations.I have taken XML export from PCS7 for the HW config. The ET 200SP modules are avaialble in our COMOS base data and I am importing XML in a new project where no HW is created.

As I import, the Stations do not get imported and I get plethora of erros which is available in attached screenshot. The most of the errors have something to do with GSDs. SO next step I do in that I get the GSDs from Siermens webasite and import them into COMOS @LOCAL structure in my project. As the manual suggests when we import the GSDs in the @Local hierarchy then they are prioritized over alreadey existing ones.

But even after that when I import the erros remain the same and the import result in COMOS does not change.

It`s not a good idea to use the GSD Files for ET200SP. That is not the way it works. 

What PAA Version did you use?

Waht DB Version did you use?

We are using PAA 3.0.1 with DB version 10.2.2.0.0

I only imported GSDs because the errors were showing GSDs. So did not know what to do ?

Do you have any idea what to do further ? I can provide more information if needed.

please try PAA 3.1 or better 3.1.1.

ET200SP is supported from 3.1
