How the TTL encoder we need to connect to CU250s?

How the TTL encoder we need to connect to CU250s? TTL enocoder requires 5V is it ?? In X1200 connector , there is no 5V supply ?? Is there any special connector is required ?? Is it possible to connect the TTL encoder via by the terminals 33 to 76>?? We are changing from MM440 to G120 ..
