Today I went to the field and realize that I can start the drive but cannot stop it. I think the problem is that changing p20050 is only possible in "T" state and when the drive starts, with the ON/OFF1 command, it goes to "U" state and I can no longer change it.

I could set it to zero speed to stop it in p1001, but the motor will remain magnetized and could heat up. These are pumps mounted on the outside and run 24h/7days. This is an emergency mode and I think at the most it will work, like this, just for the time to fix the problem on the PLC, at most one week. That could lead to preliminary failure of the pumps?

I thought also to set to 1 the p3985 to force the drive to stop and change it back to 0 when I want to run again the drive. Is there other form to force the drive to come to a stop?

Now I checked how they do it in the application example that I attached in my previous post.

There they solve this "changable in T" issue by writing value "100" to p2900 from the HMI and in the drive the following settings:

p840[0] = r2094.0

p2099[0] = p2900

So the fixed value p2900 is used to solve that issue because that one is changable in U as well.

For you there still remains the problem that you want to have 2 ways of switching on the drive....I checked and also the switchover parameter for p810 is only changable in T. So simply using the Command Data Set and switchover directly via HMI is also not possible. Maybe a try would be to do the same "trick" with p810 (CDS switchover) as done and described above with p840 (OFF1). 

So maybe try to connect the following: 

p810 = r2095.0

p2099[1] = p2901

For p840 you then need to use the 2 indeces. for your 2 different command sources. So for example you use the second CDS for HMI command then connect p840[1] = r2094.0 and switch on the drive by writing 100 to p2900 by the HMI. 

To switchover the data set via the HMI you need to write probably the value "100" to p2901. Of course you need to do this first before you can switch on the drive. I think that's how it could work - no guarantee, I did not try it myself. That's just what I can imagine when seeing the application example and the list manual information.
