Connection Logo!8.FS4 via VPN SSTP

W1nn1ep000h Posts: 11 Rating: (0)	Hello to all. I use VPN SSTP connection to access the subnet where two Siemens! Logo 8.FS4 are located. When connected, via VPN, a subnet connection is established. Both PLCs respond to the "ping" command (see screenshot). But when connecting to the PLC via Logo! SoftComfort, it requires a password from the remote connection, although the PC connected via the VPN are in the same subnet. This is fine? Attachment connection Logo via VPN.png (584 Downloads)

If the PC is not in the same IP range and / or the ping to logo is too long, the password is automatically asked. Your pings are already quite long. That certainly depends on your VPN connection. Ella_68 The IP address of the computer in the LOGO subnet is 192.168.2.254. It is not included in the router's address pool. The connection is established using a radio signal and a repeater amplifier, therefore such a ping + setting is very far from me (2500 km). Just before that, I did not come across that being in the same subnet, Logo asks for a remote access password.

It is astonishing that with the "charity" of the logo there is a stable connection at all. Out of pure curiosity: what frequency is the radio being used on? Ella_68 You understood me wrong. 2500 km from my computer to the place where two Logos work. There is a usual 4g antenna with a signal amplifier so that there is a good signal to the nearest (15 km) 4g tower.

When transmitting in the LSC, in such cases only the correct network card has to be selected in the transmission menu. Ella_68
