Dear Martin, The first item I saw is the computer name does not follow the rules of PCS 7. See attached. But I guess it might not be the reason. 1. Please check the physical connection and make sure you can ping each other. 2. Make sure you have assign OS server, right click on Sposa OS-> Assign OS server. 3. Make sure the target path is correct \\Computer Name\Automation projects is shared and accessible by the engineering station. 4. Make sure you can access the target computer and not block by any hardening policy of the computer. Hope it helps. AttachmentRules of Computer Name.pdf (369 Downloads) |

I attached with my project configuration for your comparison. Hope it helps you little bit. What you could check also is the PCStation name, please configure your computer name into it. And please make sure your Computer name is configured in the Host file. You must be able to ping with your Computer name but not IP address. Before doing all these, go to computer - > simatic shell -> right click at the top -> settings -> choose your terminal bus IP address/network card. make sure the system is using the correct terminal bus to do download into OPC station. Dear Martin, The latest reply from JazTai says it all. Even after that if you have the same issue, try restarting the target computer and check. Thanks Vinoth |
