Thanks for the clarification. However, the option "start sm@rt server" does not appear in my project, this one in the attached image. What could be wrong? |

Hello, What is the version of TIA Portal you are using? Can you check the image version of your panel in the project? (Properties of panel, general information) Sm@rtserver is possible when you use TIA Portal v14 or higher, and the image of v14 or higher Best regards, Wizard |

Hello if you have transfered the correct image to the Panel then you can see also the settings in Control Panel: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/de/en/view/90114350/143297380107 It will work also without License for testing purposes but you will get always a license message. So for productive work you need a License on the Panel. If you work with TIAPortal V17 (and V17 Image) then you do not need a License any more. The functionality then is included for free also for Basic PAnels 2nd Gen. Bye Murof |

Hello yes I am sure, you can read it in the manual: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/de/en/view/90114350/143297380107 And also i have tested it, ther is no license message any more if you use it without license on the Basic 2nd Gen in V17. Bye Murof |
