I too have a similar kinda experience with gscrt.exe. In our case, the attached alarm is pops up then I cannot use WinCC, and every time I need to re-start the WinCC and sometimes restart the PC.

Is there any solution?

Hello ,

I am facing problem with gscrt.exe in WinCC. Auto Tasking of all area getting stopped and nothing is working. 

For that we are starting gscrt.exe file. After that it is start to work normally. 

Please help me to solve this problem.

What exact version of WinCC are you using, including ServicePack and Updates?

If there is no other problem, I have seen cases where this error is corrected by updating the software.

Its hard to say whats the reason without more data.

Check the Diagnose folder of WinCC in the logfiles if there are any noticeable problems ti see.

Check the Memory consumption of the script process of wincc. Is it increasing constantly (more hours)? (its a sign of a memory leak)

Of course also everything in your scripts could cause this behaviour like a memory access violation or something else...
