I hope you're all doing great. I'm working with a G120X. After i introduced all the basic parameters through the BOP, i'm getting F07902 and A07929. Both suggest to check the motor cables as expected since I have not connected any motor yet.

Is it possible to start the VFD (two-wire, 4-20mA speed reference) without any motor connected? Maybe there is some parameter i'm missing that allows me to perform that action.

The question is: what do you want to start if there is no motor connected? 

The drive probably tries to do stationary measurement when switching on and sends some current to the motor to measure the electrical motor data. This of course leads to a fault when no motor is connected. 

Independent on the measuring activated or not - the drive will go to fault if you try to switch it on without a motor connected it. 

So again: what is your use case to switch on the drive? You can only give the 24V power supply to it to do the parameterization and things like that but you cannot give the switch on command.

Thanks for your help. I tried to start the G120X because I have done it in other brands. I just wanted to know if there was a parameter or configuration that allowed me to do so. It was only for some basic tests before going to the plant where they will be installed. But i guess i'll have to wait.
