Has anyone considered inserting a board for creating a second Display output?

I have seen that Arduino Boards and mPCIe cards exist. For example this mPCIe card: innodisk-embedded-peripheral-display

Which could issues should be faced in order to make this solution work? The goal is to handle 2 monitors with different video output.
