I'm facing issue with OPC connection tags are shopwing in the OPC scaut software but in the wincc OPC tag manager nothing is showing here I have attached the screenshots for your reference please go through once and please suggest me what would be the best sulution for the smae thanks😚☺️😪.

Do you want WinCC to work as an OPC Server or do you want WinCC to work as an OPC Client that connects to another OPC Server?

If you want WinCC to work as an OPC Server so that another OPC Client can connect to it, then you do not create an OPC Channel Driver.
All tags will be avaiable as OPC items (depending on license).


If you want WinCC to work as OPC Client and connect to another OPC Server then you would use the OPC Channel driver but you would start with configuring the OPC Server so that you have OPC Items created in the OPC Server.
After this you can browse from the WinCC OPC Client for these items.
The procedure to create OPC connection from WinCC is like this:

Under the "OPC" channel driver right click "OPC Groups (OPCCHN Unit#1)".
Select "System Parameter"

In the "OPC Item Manager" dialog box under <local> select the OPC Server you want to connect to. (I assume the OPC server is installed locally).
Click the button "Browse Server".
From the dialog box "Filter criteria" click "Next".

A dialog will open with the OPC Items available in the OPC Server.
Select the items you want and click "Add items".
You will be asked for a connection name and also tag name.
After this, click "Back" and then "Exit".

On the printscreen, it looks like you are connecting to the Classic OPC server and not the OPC UA server of Simatic Net.

This is probably why you can see the structure but not the actual data.

Try to add an OPC UA driver and connect to the OPC UA server instead.

You can also send a Screenshot of OPC Scout where the browsing interface is working, then we can also see which connection you are using.

The specific WinCC Version you use would also be great.
