As I know you can also use the software redundant solution in WinCC with S7400/H but only for not time ciritical usecases with common ethernet cards:

But if you need a fault-tolerant S7 connection to a S7400H then you need to use S7 Redconnect and some Simatic Net CPs:

then you also have to use integration and configuration in Simatic Manager.
