I'm currently working on a simple winder to wind material from 1 axes to the next. as its such a compact simple machine there is no master axis attached so speed is determined by a HMI reference value converted to the outgoing speed by diameter.

My controller is a 1214 PLC with 2 V90 Drives and servomotors connected to it.

From my program i'm able to read out the diameter of the current roll with 2 analog sensors so i should be able to maintain the axis at a constand speed by calculating the new refence speed of a axis. I now start the axis with a move-velocity command 

As soon as the diameter changes it should be adjusting speed according to the new calculated value. however it maintains the same speed as when the command was started. Is there a easy solution to get the speed adaptation so the new speed setpoint is activated in the axis?

I have programmed both axis in jog mode this morning to test how the axis would respond on the diameter change of a full roll by having my start stop on a set/reset block, this work supprisingly well in keeping speed constant even without the Lcon blocks. I tried to set it up with the blocks before but without succe, i only have the step7-basic version so the example doesnt work here to see how that one is set up, i will give that one a go when i have more time for that

both are only connected to telegram 3 with a to assigned.

As soon as i connect the sup telegram 750 it stops working any tips on that part would be welcome

i get it :), i think thats exactly what happens here. if i read my M-Act then i get a result that translate to 0. i will look in to that one later on as i continue on the build.

I also bought a load cell to measure the actual tension in the web more precise so i think it will work all out.
