I'm been searching in the forum but I don find the right answer.

How i can read the current active alarms on a script ?

Mainly Alarm ID, alarm text and time alarm occurred.

I don't want a button that export to csv in the alarm viewer.

I want something to be able to read the current alarms but in other windows that doesn't have the alram viewer on it.

In other words and dont want that my script have to be asociated to a alarm viewer.

I'm using WinCC Professional V15.

Afaik it's not possible in VBS, as you need to access the WinCC Api for msrtcli and also for mscscli and text_cs if you want additional information, which you can only do in C.

There are some sample projects for WinCC 7.x to access the WinCC for getting alarm informations in C-script. If the samples and the header files with the function prototypes are not enough for you, then you have to buy the WinCC ODK which contains additional informations. But nevertheless, in VBS I think it's not possible.

I was searching for some examples some talk about "GMsgFunction()" but it seem that it only works on wincc 7.x not for wincc professional V15

But you need more functions from the engineering runtime to get all informations (texts to the IDs). If you are not familiar with C language, then it'll take you some time to get all you need, as there's more neccessary than basic C knowledge.

And the API functions from WinCC 7.x are still working in WinCC Prof. V17. I just made some tests, all is working as expected.the

The functionaliy of the GMsgFunction you can also use in WinCC Prof.

in the properties of the alarms you can  use the Event "Status changed" its basically the same as in WinCC V7

Here you have to use a C Script with the MSG_RTDATA_STRUCT Datatype as parameter.

Interesting, I never new of that GMsgFunction function, maybe it's useful sometime. The problem with that method is, if he wants to get a list of all active alarms, he has to keep track of coming and going alarms and build his own list, which maybe at some point out of sync with the alarms in WinCC. Especially WinCC start with active alarms, or if you have redundant servers would have to be tested if you get all events correctly.

I'd choose MSRTEnumMsgRTData() to get a list of all alarms, where you can set filter options of which alarms you want to see. But  you have to connect to the message service first, and it needs a callback function where you get the results from the MSRTEnumMsgRTData() call.
