WinCC Advanced / unified PC unavailable error

MCG Eng Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hello I've been struggling with a problem for some time now. The current project I'm working on requires WinCC unified. When I try to compile or download the project I get an error stating that the required software isn't available/installed. TIA asks for WinCC Advanced / unified PC V1. I have tried removing and reinstalling WinCC, TIA and tried installing different versions of WinCC, V1 and V4. Nothing seems to correct the error. Is there anyone who might have an idea what the problem is? The attached picture has more info. Attachment WinCC error installed SW.jpg (432 Downloads)

ChristophD Grandmaster Joined: 5/12/2006 Last visit: 1/23/2026 Posts: 22831 Rating: (3074)	can you install the latest update for wincc V17 ES? https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/de/en/view/109784441 if i see correct you have installed ES V17.0 and Unified PC V17.0 UPD 1. Maybe it solved if all SW is on the same Update level?

MCG Eng Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	That worked. Thanks very much for your help. The program ask for V1. Does that mean that I need to use V1 or would V2, 3 or 4 work as well as long as everything is the same version? Again, thanks for your help. Its greatly appreciated.
