Polynomial camprofile

DavidBrown Posts: 975 Rating: (9)	I am doing some calculations for a trajectory where I want to use a 6th order polynomial. I then put the 6th order polynomial in the cam and I interpolate the cam. What I expect from my calculations does seem correct in the visual online cam profile as long as the 'StartLeadingvalue' is 0. When 'StartLeadingvalue' is different from 0, what I see in the online cam profile is different from what I see if I put the 6th order polynomial into an external software to plot the polynomial. For instance this polynomial : 9.765625E-09x^6 -4.1015625E-06x^5 +0.0006982421875x^4 -0.0615234375000001x^3 +2.96630859375x^2 -74.4628906250001x + 762.939453125002 is also shown in the attachment in the cam datablock. leadingvalue range is from 50.0 to 90.0. The online cam will be completely different from the plot that I get in a software like Wolfram Alpha. The plot in Wolfram Alpha seems correct, the online cam not. If leading range would start at 0, both cam and plot would be the same. Is there some reason why there is a problem with inserting polynomial in a cam when leadingstartvalue is different from 0?
