i have a G120 with CU240E-2DP

I'm going to configurate a SI with terminal wiring (DI4, DI5 specific for it safety) with a safety relay to control two channels of a e-stop button.

I understand, that when the e-stop its activated and then released, i need to ack the sinamics with a push button, can i use any DI free in my cu?

Hello noyacbr,

basically you don`t need to acknowledge the STO, but you simply have to start the drive again after STO was deselected.

But are you really using a CU240B-2? This control unit doesn`t support SINAMICS safety integrated functions.
Check chapter 3.2 of the G120 Safety Integrated function manual, where you can find an overview about the control units which supports SINAMICS safety integrated.

In chapter 4.4 you can also find wiring examples how to connect sensors or failsafe components.

Yes you are right, we have several types of cu. This is CU240E-2DP with DI4, DI5 for SAFETY FUNCTIONS.

I've been reading about your link and i confused.. i've severa pdf about this.

1. after release the sto the drive is ready

SAFETY ready after release sto its ready

2. i need a f-di for ack, then this cu not right because have only two f-di (used for the channels of relay)

SAFETY ack with f-DI

When you say "start the drive again" you say P840?
