Dear mario Thanks for the reply But the laptop is mine , I have to handle both PCS7 and Step7 projects Please kindly let me know of any other solution |

hi Tagolover What Mario Bragança said is right - WinCC native and WinCC integrated in PCS7 works different, that means if you install PCS7 using same version of WinCC, itwill be possible open WinCC project into PCS7 but not sure you can reuse that project in original WinCC project. - Step7 in PCS7 is quiet different too: PCS7 install more tools and library, you can use it as well as standard Step7 but you have to be carefull. In conclusion, better you create 2 different partition: 1st for WinCC + Step7; 2nd for PCS7 In alternative try to use virtual machine (i'm using for WinCC and PCS7 too, but only to develop and not for startup and maintenance on the plant) Regards |

Hi Tagolover, the most used are VMWarehttp://www.vmware.com/ and Micosoft Virtual PC http://www.microsoft.com/windows/downloads/virtualpc/default.mspx these SW are NOT free Regards |
