First time posting here, sorry if my english is bad, it's not my birth language.

So here i want on an HMI TP1500 Comfort, to load a recipe from a changing variable.

I exeplain;

On the screen you have 2 differents recipe. On the left i have (in blue) "code emballage" with "a1".

I want in the second , when i press the button to load on the next page the recipe called "a1".

If the first one call on "code emballage", "a3" and on the second recipe is "a1", pressing the button made the second recipe from "a1" to "a3".

Its like nested recipes.

Hi,

I think what you need is the possibility to associate an INT tag to the selected recipes. In the recipe viewer settings, you can select the variable you have created for that use. Depending on the number, one or another recipe will be selected.

Is there anyway to do it with a String tag ?

the code is written by the operator like "VQ0" for exemple.

It's a standart for them, I can't see myself telling them to change the code for being an INT tag 

For the moment i have a brut solution with a DB and an array for stocking all of the 2nd recipes but it's not ideal.

Hey CM, how well do you know the Comfort HMIs?

Would it be possible for @DialY to have a script in the HMI that gets a STRING from the communication partner that is reworked to an INT. The customer would have to send an exact string for the lookup to work. Is this idea workable?

To be honest, I'm not the best person to talk about scripting. But I think it's a great idea and I found this thread that may help.
