Different Time in PLC and HMI alarm view

Jodossantos2 Regular Member Joined: 8/30/2021 Last visit: 2/10/2025 Posts: 22 Rating: (0)	Hello, I have an alarm view wich has a time different than the one in the PLC (one hour less) even though my PLC time is correct. I cannot change the time in the alarm view and PLC time is being taken from NTP server. IS there a way to update this? Thanks

From HMI Connections Slave or area pointer with local time. Set time zones correctly from PLC and HMI. Example if you live in Helsinki - PLC properties Time Zone set GMT + 2 - HMI: Desktop -> My Computer -> Control Panel -> Time Date set GMT + 2 EDIT: If you have IPC with Advanced change time Zone in Windows settings.

The first beginning would be to check your time synchronisation: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/69864408 then which alarms do you use? (Descrete alarms or PLC alarms like Program_Alarm) descrete Alarms are using the timestamp from the hmi systemtime. PLC Alarms using the systemtime from PLC and here you have to check if your local time settings are correct it there is something wrong... Bye Murof
