plcnc1986 Member Joined: 11/22/2017 Last visit: 3/11/2025 Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	hello, i am trying to solve the following problem: I have to record a production log of a machine Siemens 1200 PLC + comfort panel the data must be viewable from a remote pc ... for this purpose I have created an executable interface with wincc runtime. Problem: since the runtime takes care of data collection, it must remain constantly on and the runtime program must be started. the best solution should provide that the PC does not need to be constantly turned on. I made an attempt by archiving the files directly from the machine HMI, then copying the CSV file via scriptVB on the PC running the runtime .... however, this solution had two problems - with the runtime running, the relative csv is blocked for writing - when executing the copy script, if the file location is unreachable or if the file is blocked for writing, an error is generated. is it possible to archive data on the HMI memory and use the runtime on the pc only to view such data and possibly make a backup manually on the pc ?? thanks

In this way you can do the archiving on the Panel and use SmartServer for accessing and remote Control the Panels Screens from the PC.
