Can we Autostart a WinCC project runtime in a PC without RC licence but with RT licence?

Will the runtime file autostart without RC licence on starting up the PC with only RT licence? Regards

itafusna Gold Expert Joined: 2/17/2020 Last visit: 1/19/2026 Posts: 1251 Rating: (237)	Hi Raghu Kodi, Yes, the RT license would be enough to autostart the RT project. If, for example, you tried to start RT from WinCC Explorer, you would get a licensing error, since RC (engineering) is required.

" comes up on restarting the pc. It doesn't automatically open the runtime when the pc starts up. But this pop up comes. Which app should i browse and select so that i can open . mcp file and run the runtime file automatically the next time when i restart the system. Screenshots of the above procedure would be helpful. Regards

If yes, can ou please send a Screenshot of the Autostart configuration in the WinCC Autostart Dialog (Do not use the Windows Autostart just with MCP file....) Screenshot of the error message.
