Include text lists in the faceplate to show some internal state of a component

baioretto Posts: 20 Rating: (31)	Bump. Really nobody does this? To include textlists in the faceplate to show some internal state of a component in a human-readable form is so common. Surely Siemens would have thought of this Then again we still need to write javascript for simple things like seting a tag on a button press inside a faceplate. To state the WinCC Unified is an unfinished product would be a huge understatement. Suggestion: move this thread to the WinCC Unified System category? Optimistic Hello ! with regards to ( the Symbolic IO field) : A. Writing the list into the faceplate: I have implemented text lists inside faceplates. (in TIA 15) Can we do that in the unified environment? Without having to refer to a list from outside , it is more convenient if we have to use our already created faceplates in new projects. We don't have to copy them between projects. any tip please? B. Hide the drop-down arrow: I tried to set the property (Misc => Mode: Output) but the arrow still appears! (The behavior in the old touch panels is different! The arrow is hidden when this property is used.) any suggestion, please? thank you ... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Split from Writing the list into the faceplate.
