exit() function

In the following code: printf("before\n"); exit(0); printf("after!\n"); Shouldn't the function stop when reaches exit(), so the printf("after"\n) command is never executed? Well, everything is executed!!! Mike J

I talked with the support and they told me the exit() function is not implemented in WinCC, so I'm now using simple "if, else if" statements. "return" without value does not work - compiler in WinCC 6.0 says it must return a value. But for my case I can use "return (0)". Thanks you all for the help. Mike J
