I'm curious about seeing a Wireshark capture of what's going on there. Wouldn't be surprised if the Firmware 4.1 is a problem.

I did capture network traffic software Wireshare. See the file.

as supposed, I would say that your WinCC version doesn't support communication with your firmware.

In the logfile I can see that:

- TCP connection from WinCC to your S7 Plc (10.80.135.139): success

- ISO connection from WinCC to your S7 Plc: success

- On S7 connection setup, your S7 Plc answers to the request from WinCC, but WinCC immediately closes the connection, probably because there is something that the driver version does not unterstand.

The good news is: all you have done is correct and your network is Ok and running.

I have a logfile with WinCC 7.3 and a 1200 with FW 4, where the Plc answers in the same way, and WinCC can handle this. The response from a 1200 with FW2 differs, and WinCC 7.2 can communicate with this version.

I would say, post an official support request, and ask which firmware versions are supported by WinCC 7.2. I haven't found this information in any documentation or FAQ (maybe we'll see a backdated FAQ where we can read this ;-) )

What I would try first, is using the 1500 CPU type in communication setup, as the protocol data of the 1200 with FW4 is more like the old (first) 1500 CPUs.

Or (I don't know if it's possible) try if you can downgrade your firmware version to an older version. I have never seen a capture of FW3, but FW2.x must work.
