umutorkan Regular Member Joined: 10/20/2019 Last visit: 12/11/2025 Posts: 14 Rating: (0)	Hello, I've been trying to read holding registers of the schneider PM5300 via WinCC Professional Modbus TCP/IP without using any plc. I can not read the register of the device. I've checked the connection from WinCC Channel Diagnosis if there is problem with connections or not. There is no problem with connection. But I cant read the register when I start the simulation. So I tought I've written the HMI adress of the holding register. I am going to share the pics. Could you please help me. Cocolino Silver Member Joined: 4/8/2021 Last visit: 1/7/2026 Posts: 642 Rating: (114)	Hi umutorkan, To my knowledge, the configuration done seems to be ok, however, as far as I know, the parameter "Remote slave address" should be used only when there is a getway(bridge) between the HMI and the PLC. If that is not the case, it should be set to 255 o 0. Hope it helps.
