The links above are only for TP 1200 Comfort ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Split from GSD file for TP1200 comfort.

In this case, it is not necessary to declare the HMI in SIMATIC Manager, because the HMI will access the tags declared and configured in HMI tags. That way, you don't need to add GSD to declare on the CPU. Only by configuring the HMI connection, the communication should be established.

The panel is programmed in TIA and PLC in Step7 v 5. In the TIA project, I added Link PB /IE and Proxy PLC. I added the same Link PB /IE to Step7. Both projects have the same IP, Profibus addresses, network IDs. But it seems to me that in the Step7 project it is also necessary to add the gsd of the KTP 1200 Basic panel. In the Step7 project, I temporarily added an MP377 panel as an example. It seems to me that for KTP 1200 Basic it should be similar. Attachment Pr.jpg (565 Downloads)

Murof Platinum Expert Joined: 8/3/2009 Last visit: 1/21/2026 Posts: 16653 Rating: (1944)	Hello markerIV you cannot compare the Basic panel to a MP377 in this case! -> There is no gsd or gsdml file for a Basic Panel 1st or 2nd Generation. you can not or do do not have to insert the hmi in the HW of the PLC for communication issues. -> you can do a manual hmi connection in the HMI project or use a Proxy Device in TIA for communikation. (the Basic Panel cannot act as DPIO Slave as the Multipanel for direct keys) Bye Murof
