Hello, I am using TIA V17, where within I have added a CPU1511F-1PN: the aim is to control a Simatic G120C VFD having the following article ID: 6SL3210-1KE12-3UF2. The PLC is downloaded via Siemens virtual Ethernet switch onto PLC Sim Advanced V4 (virtual PLC). As for the drive, I have it physically connected within the same network band of the virtual PLC. From the TIA VM, I can ping both, the virtual PLC as well as the drive. Using PRONETA, I have set the IP address of the drive, with the following crop representing its internal firmware version: In TIA, below is its FW version: According to this website: the V4.71.52 represents the firmware version of 4.7.13: For now, there aren't any communication/FW issues. Below is the TIA network view: As a reminder, I am using a virtual PLC with a physical Sinamics drive. After running the commissioning wizard of the drive in TIA, and setting its Telegram configuration, etc. the moment I download the settings onto the drive it tells me the following: "Maintenance demanded, error in lower level component". Below are some parametric views: The keynote is that I am NOT inputting any 3ph as input to the drive, neither a 3ph motor terminals connection to it. The purpose at this level is to only check some data traffic between the PLC and the drive, such as the states of digital inputs, and the value in the analog input, etc. No executive switching/control of the motor is intended at this stage. I also do not know, if the absence of the phase input/output put the VFD in such state. For example, the values inside the Status word 1 and Status word 2: can be seen on the HMI that is connected as an accessory onto the device, but NOT seen in the Telegram assigned addresses according to the Telegram setup... Any further guidance would be greatly appreciated... |
