Problems with Configuration Tool SP4

I have a little problem with WinCC Configuration Tool SP4 - when I load data from existing project (WinCC 6.0 SP4) in Excel with Configuration Tool i get counless number of errors "The tag to be archived does not exist". With WinCC SP3 and Configuration Tool SP3 same project is opened well. Can anyone help me? Is that error with SP4 only? Ivica Maric

Salma Posts: 1398 Rating: (151)	I don't think this is a known issue with SP4. Maybe there is something in your project that SP4 now detects but SP3 did not ? I think the error means that you have tags configured in TagLogging that don't exist within WinCC. Now this could be a problem with tag names containing dots but not being part of a structure, or something else. Can you post your Excel file here? (It must be below 1Mb)

Danielle Posts: 1275 Rating: (123)	Hi! I use ConfigurationTool with SP4 and I've never had any problems! But you should note that thearchiving system had evolved from SP3 to 4. If your project was ever configured in SP4 it will probably have some problems if opened in SP3.Since things are differentwith SP4 there might be some errors, like Salma said, that SP3 won't detect! I got that message in the past when I edited a tag, changing it's name,which was being archived, so the tag to be archived really didn't exist anymore! Tag Logging does not automatically change the tags names when you edit them. Alarm Logging does, though. Best regards Danielle

mara Posts: 62 Rating: (2)	Hi salma! Here is saved Excel file. It is .rar file with changed extension to .zip (because system limitation to .zip files only). Projectis maked with WinCC SP3 and after that I upgraded WinCC to SP4. Allworked fine in SP3 [:cry:]
