Hello,

I have come across very strange problem after project migration from wincc v7.0 to v7.3.

I have an old unreliable computer with wincc 7.0 and win XP and I want to replace it with new Simatic Rack PC that cam with preinstalled windows 7 ultimate and wincc 7.3.

The project was fully functional on wincc 7.0 (created in that version). So after copying the project to new machine, before opening I was asked to migrate the project. All steps were carried out successfully, except the warning message that 6 C scripts are not migrated successfully.

After opening migrated project and after entering operator credentials, I have noticed that all navigation buttons on the top of the screen are empty and the wincc logo on the right upper corner is set to default one. On the top of the screen there is a line that shows current alarm and that is working and the operator can acknowledge the alarms. The winCC project is basically unusable because it is not possible to navigate to process pictures.

Does this have anything to C scripts? I guess it does, because when I open the start picture in the graphics designer the placeholder for the navigation buttons has some C script dynamic. When trying to compile the script I receive error that some header (.h) file cannot be found.

Is there any other steps I need to perform in order to restore the functionality of the project?

Does anyone has experience with migration from 7.0 to 7.3?
