I’m quite new at programming with Sinamics and TIA. I have a project i’m working on and the components I have accessible are s7-1215c cpu and a G120C drive. The drive will control a lift. I have a 4-20mA feedback signal for the position of the lift (4mA at bottom, 20mA at top).

Is it possible to create a closed-loop control (PI-Controller) of the lift in the g120c drive? And can anyone point me in the right direction of necessary documentation to solve this issue?

You can find a lot of info about PID control with G120c in his manual. ¿Have you checked it? Maybe helps you in this point. I know there is function in TIA Portal working with PID, but maybe there are a simple way,
