KTP400 takes forever to compile

a.timmermans Member Joined: 2/16/2022 Last visit: 1/8/2026 Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	Hi there, At the moment i'm using TiaPortal V18 and somehow when compiling or downloading a KTP400 it gets stuck at 95% of compiling. I tried using different versions of the software and different versions of the device inside tiaportal. Sometimes it takes up to 30 minutes before ready to download to the device. Does someone have any idee how to solve this problem? Attachment Compile.PNG (221 Downloads)

Things like: 1) Detailed version information about the panel & software. 2) Specifications of the PC & memory resident programs (ex. security softwares) 3) Local installation of the software vs Virtual Machine. 4) Size of the project including count of pictures used. 5) Are all images loaded from 'bonus' DVD? Else consider having a conversation directly with Siemens by using the "Support Request" web link found on this page.

Did you already try to create a new KTP400 and compile that "almost empty" project? You may rename @project@\IM\HMI\C\ to @project@\IM\HMI\C_old\ and recompile. Regards, Frink
