Hello, 

You are right, but, I have couple of question about this.

1) How can I know when the Copy it's ended? I mean I'm not coping an integer, but few structure with reals and so on..., 

2) when the Copy it's ended I have to clear the Gripper (or station , it depends if I'm making pick or place) , but , should I use a TON or what? How can I know when it's the correct moment...

The move / assignment command is a synchronize instruction. It does not process the next command line unless the job has been completed.

Clearing of the structured tag can occur after the copy task. "zeroing" a structure can be done by assigning the structured tag to a structured tag that contains no data.

I use the above mentioned processes when handling recipes. But it is important to move blocks of data only when needed, else the cycle time suffers. One should also keep in mind that an interrupt can occur while copying takes place. So best not to reference the effected memory area in the interrupt OB.

I Wanted to use CopiaOK just to be sure that the operation was ended, I knew it could be superfluous.

I forgot to say that I was testing the logic with PLCSIM so, I wasn't connected to a plc while testing the logic, but I don't think it affects the code or what we were saying.

I suspect your problem is "Esegui". If it was 1 for a single cycle of a PLC then it would work. But it is HMI connected variable, so I doubt it works like this.

Also whole halo around "CopiaOK" is without any effect.

More or less it should look like following, presuming HMI sets "Esegui" once: 

IF Esegui =1 Then   // Esegui if a Button in the HMI

#Place_Su_Stazione := #Place_Da_Pinza;  // This is the copy

#Place_Da_Pinza := "Azzera_Stazione".Misure; // This is the emptying

END_IF;

Esegui = 0;

I think you may require some explanation how PLC cycle works.

 I think the problem was exactly that,

The event wasn't "Set bit" on the release of the button , but I was using the "Press" event and "SetBitWhileKeyPressed", I think it was more than once PLC Cycle setted to 1 the "esegui" variable.

Tell me more about the HMI button (Esegui). How is it configured? In other words: for how long is Esegui = TRUE?

A situation should be created that the copy process is only done once, when Esegui = TRUE.

In my own designs, the 'release' button event is used to SetBit. The PLC will then reset the bit. That means something like the following in the PLC:

// This task is only executed once
//   when the button is released
if (#Esegui = TRUE) then
    #Esegui := FALSE;
    // Do copy command
end_if;

What are your thoughts?
