Hello everybody I have a question regarding Wincc messages. I have a project in Wincc, the version was a 7.4 that has now been migrated to 7.5 SP2 upd8. There is a C script, which checks for new alarms in a AxAlarmControl object, hidden in the main page. If a new alarm occours, it triggers a tag, which is read by another PLC I needed to delete some alarm from this logic, I didn''t want to delete the alarms so I created a new class of alarms and moved the messages to this new class. What happened then was that when one of this alarm is triggered, it goes directly in the archive. I can't see the message in the active message page, but only in the archive (short term archive list) and the status is Acknowledge-system It seems somehow as soon as the alarm arrive to the system, it's already acknowledged. If I change back the alarm to the previous class, everything goes to normal: the alarm is shown in the active list of alarm, until it goes away. What I would achieve, is showing the alarm in the active-message page (which now doesn't happens) having the alarm in the new class i modified the post adding a pdf file with all the print-screen Attachmentimages.pdf (376 Downloads) |

Thanks Murof! Actually, apart the tag for the status, which is used to trigger the buzzer for the alarm in the supervisor PC, I don't see any other significan differences. I tried to make them similar, but there's no difference. Thanks however for the tips. I learned another thing on the status tag for the alarm groups I didn't know before. The problem is another one actually: as soon as I change the class, the alarm tags remains @ TRUE for a very short amount of time, and that's coherent with what I see: the alarm stays on for let's say less than 1 second, and immediately goes away, so it's normal that it's stored in the short term archive. I think there must be a script somewhere in the program that triggers a reset for all the alarms that are not in the alarm view. Thanks for the help
