Dear all,

I use Tia Portal v17 and WinCC professional and I have created a plc program where I store values on an Array. When the Array is full, i change an integer's value which  triggers a vbscript on the WinCC which writes the Array values on an excel file. The array refills and this process happens continously. 

Everything works smooth but a problem occurs if I restart the program. The first array recorded is empty (zero values) even though on the plc the values are not zero. The time between the first values' change and the script is enough to communicate the new values to WINCC. It seems like I need to "force" the first communication and then everything is smooth. 

Do you have any idea what could cause the zero values on the beginning?

I am reading the Tags as SmartTags in the VBScript.

I add pictures of:

1) the vb script

2) The correct excel file 

3) The null excel file produced the 1st time (or on restart)

I tried Direct Reading but VBScript Crushes. Need to try something more on that. 

If attachments help more to identify what is wrong in the initial program, please advise.

What i did and actually worked is that i first read the tag.Value and put it in an internal table and then use it in the program.
