Hi all,

I have an issue with OPC DA connections failing to reconnect in WinCC 7.4

At some points, the PCs that I am communicating with need to be restarted, in this instance the only method I have found to re-establish the OPC DA connection is to restart runtime.

Is there another way to get the connection to attempt to reconnect after a given time period or manually?

Hi Murof,

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll double check those settings.

The comms do work when initially connected, so I'm reasonably confident that most of the settings are ok, the problem is that the OPC DA won't reconnect automatically
