Hi Guys, 

I have two question about V90 systems...

How its work if I choose in technology object :

• Encoder mounting type : On load side
• Encoder : External device (For example singleturn absolute profinet from sick)
• Encoder type : Cyclic absolute

The position will be resetted to zero automatically every time when encoder make a full rotation? Or I need to make additionals function in my software? 

Why I am asking.. I need to find a solution to control "carousel - 360deg with 4 work positions , move 90deg".   I have lifts on each of the four sides, so I need to additionally identify where a particular one is located

So my first idea was use a V90 servo drive with single turn absolute encoder on load side, what u think about this option? Maybe someone has experience with similar application?
