iceiceice Regular Member Joined: 9/23/2018 Last visit: 9/20/2025 Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	Hello Sir, Im Facing some problem about the SQL Server, I'm Installed software WinCC V7.5 and all process is completed without error but when i'm trying to create new wincc project im facing problem about " Microsoft SQL Server cannot access the Database" then i'm check the Microsoft SQL Server Configuration Manager the SQL Server(WinCC) is Stopped while i try to start manual i got error “The Request Failed or the service did not respond in a timely fashion” how can i solve this problem sir, My PC is Dell Precision 3560 Tower Operating system : Window 10 Pro Memory : 16 Gb Storage : 1. If the master or tempdb cannot be brought online, SQL Server cannot run. This error is usually preceded by other errors. Review error logs to find the root cause. User Action Restore backup of the database or repair the database. Regards Georg Berghof

I'm Using Window 10 Pro Version 21H1 and in siemens Check compatibility Tool . WinCC 7.5 Not Support in Window 10 Pro Version 21H1, I need to Upgrade service pack to 7.5 SP2 sir. MAB_cc Advanced Member Joined: 2/28/2013 Last visit: 5/12/2025 Posts: 32 Rating: (0)	Hello iceiceice, no that's likely not the problem - I have had the exact same issue in the last few days. Even Siemens Support could not help me. Please go to Windows Control Panel -> Region -> Tab 'Administrative' -> Change system locale -> Unselect: "Beta: Use Unicode UTF-8 for worldwide language support". After that you have to restart your PC and then you have to reinstall the SQL Server again. Make sure to remove left over SQL Server stuff on your PC before you restart the WinCC Setup. You can do this via Control Panel -> Programs & Features. This seems to be a DELL issue because they check this feature by default when you install your Windows 10 - mine was a DELL Tablet for example. Siemens is aware of this situation and they will update their manual and/or post some information in the Siemens Online Help very soon (at least they told me that) BR, MAB_cc

My problem cannot solve by up grade to SP2, I try to upgrade yesterday and SQL Service still Stopped. i will try the way you guide.
