Variables inside the PLC (there is a clear understanding of which ones are needed - their names and addresses) At this stage, it is the collection of data, not the recording of their PLC, only the reading ... 2. PLC availability in the network (diagnostics and so on) To collect information over the network, Zabbix server will be used, or other software working with the protocol SNMP (Zabbix first) Therefore, questions (I am only getting acquainted with SNMP technology): 1. What is needed for this? Will an OPC server or something similar be required ... 2. Is it safe to query variables in the PLC using the SNMP? 3. Can someone describe how this is best implemented? Maybe there are some examples ... I smoked looked several topics on our forum but did not find answers to my questions (maybe I was looking badly) S7-300 SNMP

Thanks, but, I searched, but did not find specific answers. I voiced my questions. The questions are likely simple ... Maybe someone has experience with such implementation)
