Use following properties for tag in wincc

Data type : Unsigned 32 bit value

Adaption type : dword to Unsigned dword

In linear scaling use

AS range : 0 - 600000

OS range : 0-600

So that when you enter 600 into io field, PLC takes it as a 600 second or 10 minutes time.

This works perfectly for me. You can change range as per your requirement.

I need to enter timer tv frm wincc to plc 300 to make timinh for my prog.

I tried to configurr I/O field from wincc and do more solutions, but I couldnot.

What kind of timer are you using in the S7-300 pogram? There are 2 types, S5Timers (S_ODT, for example) and IEC Timer (SFB 4 TON.. .)

If you have a IEC Timer, then the suggestions and replies from Cionco earlier in this thread are a good way to start.

If you are using S5Timers, then you should write a value from winCC as if it were for a IEC Timer, and use the IEC function available in Step 7 to translate this value to a S5Time format. See this discussion for an example:

I am using wincc v7.3 , Tial Portal v13, plc 300 and (S_ODT).

What I did is:

I configured time input from wincc md84, in tia portal I used t-conv ( time to s5time) it works ok now, but stil the value represented in MS, what I am thinking is to multiply the md84 by 1000 before used it in t-conv, if I am right please confirm if i need to do something else please advise
