[RT Professional] Client Script didn't Fully Work

budiman.chandra Posts: 10 Rating: (0)	Hi Forum Expert, I have a server and client SCADA works on TIA PORTAL v17 RT Professional version. I've created a quite simple script just to gettagchar and settag to PLC that connected to SCADA. I found it works really well in Runtime Server computer side, but it doesnt work in the Runtime in the Client Computer. Some of the values been "settag" but most of it, the value cannot been "Settag" even the script is being written in one single button only. Please help me solve this case. PS. When you say "it doesn't work," can you please be more specific? Do you encounter any errors or unexpected behavior?

And the server can run the script verywell, but on the client computer, the script is not well function. Sometimes work, sometimes it didnt work. I'll try to enable the error on the runtime, but the script was created in C, is it okay? Will inform again soon. Thx.

Check also your winCC diagnose folder perhaps thre are some errors to this topic in the WinCC_Sys logfiles? Another thing would be to use VB Script instead of C Script to do this copy. I would also consider to use other ways to write multible tags in one step: for example: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/de/en/view/26712371 Bye Murof
