Migration of archive data in Wincc professional

Kbv Posts: 387 Rating: (28)	Dear All, I am using Wincc Professional V13 Sp1 and now want to migrate to wincc Professional V15.1 in new PC station. My question is I dont want to loose archive data (tag log and alarm log) during migration as it is very important, how is it possible? How do I migrate runtime folder as well? regards, Kbv.

Murof Platinum Expert Joined: 8/3/2009 Last visit: 1/22/2026 Posts: 16658 Rating: (1944)	Hello Kbv I Think its not that easy as in WinCC V7.X because you have to load the migrated Project compleatly new. But you can use your Archived Data like Backup Database segements and copy them in the new RT Projetct in the "Common Archiving" folder. Be sure to delete this Data if you do not need it anymore because of performance issues. Bye Murof
