Change Sm@rtServer settings in runtime

trslnz Posts: 7 Rating: (0)	Hi everyone I am using a TP900 Comfort panel. I noticed that tia portal does not implement functions to change the Sm@rtServer settings in runtime. You can only do it by leaving the runtime and going to "WinCC internet settings". I would like to change the "No local input during client sessions" setting of the server, basing on the value of a boolean PLC input tag. Is it possible to do it in some way? Perhaps by dynamically modify some configuration file of the panel? Alternatively, i could solve my problem also activating/deactivating the "touch" function of the panel (so that it will take no more tactile inputs). It is possible to do it in runtime? for the help and have a good day.

This option, when enabled, makes no sense if the connected clients are "read only", in which case then no panels would be usable, or if there is no user logged in. But the option remains enforced regardless of the status. I will submit a support request to Siemens to see if there is any possibility to change this parameter via a function or script, but it is doubtful.
