Greetings!!

Is it possible to give the filter to the APL icon or apl faceplate manually. Actually the tags are generating with a chart name and block name. So, I don't want the block name in the message soruce inside the APL faceplates. Is there any way?

Tell me how to create a block icon and use it in the project?

My actions:

•  Create CFC- chart with block MonAnL

• Copy @ PCS7TypicalsAPL8.pdl and renamed it @PCS7TypicalsAPL8UserDerfined.pdl

• Copy and modify block MonAnL. The unit was called - MonAnL5.

What is needed write in the "Block Icon" for MonAnL in CFC-scheme, so that when you compile the project used the block icon of the file MonAnL5 @ PCS7TypacalsAPL8UserDerfined.pdl

You are getting warm .

You need to do the following things on CFC level:

1. Insert MonAnL block in CFC.

2. Double click on the MonAnL block and fill in a number under: "Create block icon". The numbers: "1", "2", "3" and "4" are defined by the system. You can fill in a number like "111". Make sure you enable: "OCM possible". This means that OCM capable parameters are compiled to the OS.

3. Compile + download the AS.

You need to do the following things on WinCC:

1. Copy the template like you already did-> @PCS7TypicalsV8.pdl and rename.

2. Create a copy of the existing MonAnL block icon and open the properties of the block and select the following: System. In there, change the Type property @MonAnL/1 to @MonAnL/111. The extension "@MonAnL/" must be maintained.

At this moment, you can compile the OS, where the function: "Create/update block icons" is executed. The system will now create the block icon you adjusted and inserts it into the picture of the corresponding plant hierarchy.

3. What you can do next, is to copy the faceplate files of the "MonAnL". This is recommended when you want to change the faceplate, like adding an additional object. In this case, you will copy all original faceplate files (see below) and change the extension: "MonAnL" to a suitable name like: "MonAnL_Custom", so it will be like "@PG_MonAnL_Custom_Standard.pdl". You can now define your custom block icon to look at the new faceplates instead of the original. For this, you have to set the following:

1. Open the properties of the block icon

2. Go to: "System" and change the extension "PCS7 MonAnL Control" under servername to: "PCS7 MonAnL_Custom Control".    

Faceplate files of the "MonAnL":

- @PG_MonAnL.pdl

- @PG_MonAnL_Limit.pdl

- @PG_MonAnL_Overview.pdl

- @PG_MonAnL_Parameter.pdl

- @PG_MonAnL_Preview.pdl

- @PG_MonAnL_Standard.pdl

- @PG_MonAnL_ViewToolbar.pdl

At this moment, when you compile the OS again or just run the: "Create/Update block icon" function separately, the block icon will open the new faceplate when you click on it. But there are still a few things that must be taken care of in the faceplate files itself.

1. Open @PG_MonAnL_Custom.pdl and select the object: "@Faceplate". In the object, select the property: "Firstview" and change the name to: "@PG_MonAnL_Custom_Standard.pdl".

2. Select the object: "ToolbarWindow". In the object, select the property: "PictureName" and enter the name: "@PG_MonAnL_Custom_ViewToolbar.pdl".

3. Select the object: "Objcollection". In the object, select the property: "BlockType" and enter the name: "MonAnL_Custom".

These steps will make sure that the block icon you created does not open the original faceplate files, but the custom ones.
