Hello guys,

I am facing a really annoying and strange behavior of WinCC Runtime. First of all, I am using WinCC 7.5 SP2 Upd8 on Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 1809 OS computer. The core of my problem is that the bottom area with buttons from the standard Siemens frame is disappearing. When I start the project, I select a screen from the top area buttons, then navigate to the alarm screens from the bottom area buttons (to journal list for example) and when I decide to turn back to the work screens by selecting one from the top area buttons, the bottom area disappears(like it cannot find the .pdl). This issue is really annoying and can only be solved by turning on and off the Graphics Runtime. After that when I repeat the steps above, the result is the same. Any help and advises would be much appreciated!

 you could try to run the OS Project Editor again. perhaps it fixes this issue...

Hi Murof,

I tried running again the OS Project Editor before, but unfortunately  it didn't fix the problem. I've sent a service request to Siemens and they said they will forward this issue to the WinCC R&D department. Hopefully there will be a fix soon.

Hello guys,

After almost a year after my service request, I've got (maybe) a solution for this problem. The latest update of WinCC v7.5 SP2 UPD 13 should fix this issue (according to Siemens technical support answer), but I haven't tested it yet, because I am not able to update all the computers on client site. So this will take some time before verifying the update is fixing the problem.
