Hi,

Anyone can give me some guidance how to integrate Beijer ix TF15BR inot my S7HW config/Netpro.

The situation is that my client decided to use use this HW to run WinccFlex Advanced on it. I am bit puzzled.

Anyadvice appreciated. Is there anything I need to watch out? Manuals/personal commentsare all welcomed!

I dont think you will need a GSD file, as the Beijer ix is a panel.
I guess you just open a connection with "SIMATIC HMI-Station" and connect over Ethernet with PLC - thats it.

In general terms: Normally 3rd party HMIs have descriptions on how to make it work with Siemens PLCs. The HMIs have device drivers for the PLC it needs to link to. On the PLC side there is not too much to change - it needs to give permission. The software has no mention of the HMI being connected.

I doubt it is required to write a communication exchange in the PLC.

Please ask your supplier of the HMI to assist you in this matter if there is no user here volunteering this information.

 Thanks for the support, but i don't know how can make the right configuration on the TIA portal v15. In the HMI Beijer the configuration is simple, but in the TIA Portal i never made a configuration using TCON or TSEND for exemple to start and work a ISO TCP comunication. Thats my real problem.

Em termos gerais: Normalmente, as IHMs de terceiros têm descrições sobre como fazê-lo funcionar com os CLPs da Siemens. As IHMs possuem drivers de dispositivo para o CLP que precisam ser vinculados. Do lado do PLC, não há muito a ser mudado - é necessário dar permissão. O software não menciona a IHM conectada.

Eu duvido que seja necessário escrever uma troca de comunicação no PLC.

Por favor, pergunte ao seu fornecedor da HMI para ajudá-lo nesta questão, se não houver nenhum usuário aqui voluntário desta informação.

In Siemens HMI software there is described in the Help System how to use the communiation channels... Is there an example or description on our HMI side?

The following is for the Beijer X2 Range of HMI using Beijer iX

There is no configuration on the TIA side, the connection is made using the Beijer configuration.

Add a controller connection in the "Tags" section.

Choose the following:

Highlight the controller just added and choose "Settings"

Under the "Stations" tab, enter the IP of the controller you wish to connect to.

To pick up the tags in the TIA project you will need to make any DB unoptimised as the Beijer HMI works on the DB Offsets

Then in the Beijer HMI Tag set up the tags are configured as such:
