It may help to install the new V18, Update 2 image on the panel. There are improvements in media ejection. However, I cannot say which of the various problems associated with this have been fixed.

Unfortunately, there have been no significant changes to this topic until now. The V19 image device introduced the ability to eject storage media from the control panel. While this method is more reliable, it requires access to the control panel.

Improvements to the process of ejecting storage devices from the HMI GUI are expected with V21 and V21 Update 1.
