Use of Unified UDT in CPU blocks - Tia V17

baross Regular Member Joined: 1/19/2015 Last visit: 12/13/2025 Posts: 9 Rating: (0)	Hi, Is it possible to use a Unified UDT into a CPU logic? I created a UDT for Unified Panels/Runtime but i don't see anyway to use it in a CPU. Is there a workaround? Im using Tia V17. Thanks.

I found some examples in V16 but for v17 is seems some changes were made in the new Tia. In v16 in Common data folder of thr project you can define these type but dont see this feature in v17.

However, everything that was possible in V16 is still possible in V17 and V18. Maybe "Tips and tricks for configuring faceplates with WinCC Unified" or the topics created by "Denilson Pegaia" especially "WinCC Unified – TIP’s for Faceplate" will help you to get familiar with the new way of working with Faceplates.
