Parameter "Time zone" in Alarm Control element

But I continue to have a discrepancy between the time of the "Alarm control" and the time of the panel, even having the "Time zone" with the value -1. Do you know if there are any other settings that might be affecting it? Thank you.

First, you should always compare the time with the time displayed in the control panel. This is because a time displayed in an IO field or similar can also be shifted unintentionally. For alarms, it is important to know the type of alarm. If it is a PLC alarm, the alarm control will display the time stamp generated by the PLC. An offset in this case is due to different time zone settings between the PLC and the HMI. Kind regards Stefan

christopherreyes Joined: 1/10/2023 Last visit: 5/27/2025 Posts: 60 Rating: (1)	Hi Stefan. Yes I saw the time displayed in the control panel. The panel and the PLC have the same time zone. The time zone of the panel is configured in his "Date and time" settings. The time zone of the PLC is configured in the CPU properties in the parameter "Time of day". The PLC takes the hour with the "WR_SYS_T" block (I don't know if this affects the time zone setting). Thank you.
