Dear Experts, I want to fetch data from S7-1500 into an S7-1200 without altering or modifying the S7-1500 program. S7-1500 program have optimised and non optimised data blocks. So what is the easiest way to fetch data? Your earlier response is appreciable. Thanks in advance. Your question is hitching a ride with an old topic. That topic is already helpful. Review carefully the documentation given by user [Mambo_Tech].. LINK: How do you configure and program an S7 connection and the “PUT” and “GET” instructions for data transfer between two S7 CPUs? You need to watch out for the security settings for the PLCs. You will need to make changes to the S7-1500 program if Put / Get is not allowed by its security setting. Then comes the optimized setting for the DB. A non optimized DB is not a problem. Optimzed DBs is a problem. The odds are against you to access data from the S7-1500 without making program changes.
